I'm applying for a job in the writing tutoring center at my school. They work around classes, I'll be there anyway, and I should be able to study part of the time while I'm there. This should help.
I was told that any amount I get from a work study job (which this job is not) would reduce my Pell grant by that much. Luckily there were a couple of non- workstudy job openings.
