jta... there is a recipe for a flourless chocolate cake on mda that sounds amazing. great job on celebrating the new year. it sounds like it was a great way to bring in the new decade.

i too indulged way too much, but it was with 5 grapefruit and vodka drinks with my hubby and some neighbors after we had gotten home from a party, toasted the new year with sparkling cider and tucked our littles into bed. i am just lucky the grapefruit juice ran out or i would have been so much sicker that i was. i started the day off with eggs and then we rode the girls to a nearby park and played for a few hours. naptime and i attempted a jog (not so good, especially given my previous night.) i will stick to walking for a bit longer before i hit the jogging thing. one of my neighbors wants me to train for a marathon at the end of the year but i think my goal will be a half. i am just not that in love with running, but maybe i will change my mind along the way. anyway, we went to a neighbor's party and i kept to low carb.

for now i can't stop the goodies from coming from the amazing baker because it is my dh requesting them. in the last two days she has dropped off a cake and two babka's. ugh. but life is going to be full of temptation and i am just going to have to focus on what i can have and resist. i just have to remember how i have been feeling over the holidays with all of the junk i consumed. do not want to deal with the awful insulin spike.

today i am going to write down a bunch of yummy recipes from mda and start tracking again of fitday. i was losing consistently when i was doing this.

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
