DD is almost 4 months old and can now roll from her back to her side and to her stomach (if she feels so inclined!).
We co-sleep part time, and whether in the crib or in bed with me, DD has always slept on her back. Lately however, esp. in bed with me, she likes ot snuggle up next to me on her side. Initially I tried to roll her on her back once she was asleep but that only woke her up. What' I've done the last few nights is to wait until she's asleep and then scoot away from her a little to ensure she's got breathing room.
Last night, she decided that she wanted to sleep on her side in her crib as well. She seems to really prefer it as she was asleep almost instantly and on her back it has started to take a little longer for her to get comfortable.
I guess I'm just wondering if this is ok from a safety perspective. If not, what are some suggestions for getting her to stay on her back?
TIA.
