Sports Nursing Bras?

I am looking for a real sports nursing bra. Does this exist?

By sports bra I mean non-cotton, t-back, flat seems, supportive. The only thing I have found that even seems to be the right shape is the La Leche sports bra, but it is cotton (=cold if you get a little sweaty on your hike) and the seams make sore spots if I wear it all day long.

the only thing i can think of is the one i bought while pregnant. it's like a sports bra, i don't know about t back but it's probably x back, and it's not cotton. it's from the motherhood maternity store. they're in sizes up to x large. it's great for nursing.

snt88, how does the LLL nursing sports bra work for support? I really want to get back to exercising, but I'm terrified of more mastitis (got it 3 times in the first 5 weeks!).

Thanks!

It's decent. If I'm going running, I wear another sports bra over it. I do this with all of my sports bras, though.

What's the connection between the exercising and the mastitis? The bras?

Thanks for the idea! I'm guessing you mean this? http://www.motherhood.com/Product.as...tegory_Id=MC13

I might give it a try. I wish I could find one with wider straps...

I have heard of them but I haven't actually found a company that makes them. I've made sports nursing bras but not everyone has experience in bra-making.

It may be easier to buy a sports bra and modify it into a nursing bra.

yup, that's the one. i too wish it had thicker straps because unfortunately i use mine for more than just exercising/nursing, it's pretty much my fav nursing bra, and so i've worn the straps down on one already. it started to fray. it still works just fine, it just looks a little tacky i guess that's the only downside though. they're really great.

I always tell Moms to just use a regualr sports bra. The nursing sports bras on the market are not great and you only wear them while working out. In addition, they can be lifted up to nurse if need be.
