I have a question regarding setting up a sidecar to your bed. My DS has been in bed with DH and I since the day he was born. He is starting to display the need for his own space (ie. turning his back on me while sleeping after getting his snack, taking most of the space on my side of the bed, etc...), but I know that he will freak out if I put him in a crib even if it's in our room. So what i plan on trying is to sidecar a crib and just snuggle him in for nursing. It's really needed since I know that it will take a while for him to get used to it. My question is: Is this a good move? Has anyone else done this? How long was it until the baby was sleeping in the sidecar without any issues? I'm just curious.
