Bleeding nipples!!!

Ok, what do I DO??!!

One nipple started bleeding while I was pumping today! It was on the top side of the nipple, so I'm pretty sure none got in the milk - is it ok if it did?? I'm almost positive none got in - the milk isn't tinged red or pink, and looks just like the other bottle that I pumped.

Also, what happens if Lincoln gets blood in his milk while he's nursing? Is that ok or should I pump that side and nurse on the other??

I think it should be okay as long as it's not too much blood? My nipples were bleeding more or less nonstop for the first month of breastfeeding, and it only really affected my baby once or twice. He coughed up a bit of the blood - which was freaky, we went to the ER and were there for hours before they realized it was my blood

But a little blood won't hurt him...
