He will not sleep!!!!!!...Help!

Does anyone have any advice for a 13 month old who will not sleep more then 2-3 hours at a time with out having to be nursed back to sleep? He has always been like this and actually 2-3 hours is good, a lot of times he will wake up every hour! It is especually annoying when it is before we go to bed. My husband and I are trying to have an evening together or I am trying to get some stuff done and I have to go up there every hour or so to nurse him back to sleep. We co-sleep so I thought maybe he is just waiting for us to get to bed, but it does not change when we are up there. He rolls around and wakes every hour or every 2-3 hours to be nursed back to sleep. He falls right back asleep at least so we are not sleep deprived, but I wonder if I am doing something wrong? I have gone through the list; he is not too hot, cold, etc.
any one else experiencing this? or have any advice?

my 15 month old is the same way. 2-3 hours is a GOOD stretch for him.. we get that once a night about 2-3 times a week. there is nothing i have found that has helped/worked to get him to sleep better.

Same here, but with my 21 mo. Good news - in the last month or so she has popped through two new teeth and I get a 2-3 hour stretch ALMOST every night .

My ds was sleeping well, waking once or twice to nurse until that age or a month or so older, and since then the wakings have been much more frequent! It does seem like things are contantly in flux with new teeth coming in and developmental changes--I guess all we can do is hang in there and know that it will pass one day. It sounds like you already considered this, but could there be any food allergies that might be causing night waking?

well, he did have a skin reaction from dairy (getting it through my breastmilk) so I stopped eatting dairy and just recently brought it back to see if he grew out of it. So I guess that could be, but he has been doing this for a long time.
