And it just occurred to me...
DH and I always wanted to homeschool. But with DD7 with the Aspie/gifted thing, we ended up putting her in our local public elementary school last year. We just couldn't figure out how to handle her. Fortunately, we have a good school, with good teachers and a great autism team. They have helped her so much, in learning social skills, staying on task, being flexible, etc. And they provide parent education and support, too.
Not saying you should put your DD in PS. But I'm just saying that I REALLY understand how you might feel you can't do this anymore. I've BTDT.
DD7 is still at PS, but we are currently homeschooling DD4, so that is why I'm in this forum. I jump back and forth between the Learning at Home forum, the Learning at School forum, the Special Needs forum, and the Gifted forum.
