Historical Fiction Movies - Ancients

Hi there -

Can anyone recommend some movies that cover the ancients (as defined by story of the world) period? Historical fiction? Or just some fun non-fiction? I'd like to have a couple of movies on hand for bad weather/tired mama days.

i know phatui5 (an mdc mama) had compiled a list of movies for SOTW not too long ago. maybe she will see this and reply. if not, try to do an advanced search in this forum & that thread should pull up.
