Breastfeeding while on meds for surgery...

I have a friend who will be going in for dental surgery and she has been told that she shouldn't even consider breastfeeding right afterwords. She insisted they tell her what drugs she would be getting and finally got a list from them...

Fentanyl, Versed, Propofol and Ibuprofen 600 are the drugs she was told. She was told she'd need to pump and dump for FOUR DAYS. I told her I wasn't even sure she'd need to wait at all once she was concious and able to hold him and nurse. He won't willingly take anything but her so this is very much worrying her. Her son is six months old and health btw and the surgery is something she's needed since she was pregnant and really can't put off any longer.

Does anyone know what Hale's says about these drugs?

TIA!

Some more links for you All agreeing with your instinct - Mom can nurse when she is physically able to hold baby to nurse.

Also search drugs on this site:

Dentists and doctors don't know much about breastfeeding or meds while BF! They practice CYA medicine.
