Deer Bacon?

Hey Y'all!

I'm not sure is this is the right area but am hoping for some advice...

We love bacon, but are only eating meat gotten by hunting and have had much luck with wild pigs lately. We have quite a bit of deer meat though and I googled some deer bacon recipes. Has anyone made it or have a tested recipe?

Sounds yummy! We had great luck w/pigs this past winter, and will have lots more in a few months. I recommend that you post over in the Country Living and Off the Grid board. Lots of women over there process meat, and I bet PaulaJoAnne could probably help you!
