Ladycup Users - a question for you

Thread Starter
I started using a Ladycup three cycles ago. I am 38, and have 3 children (c-sections). I have the Large Ladycup.

It works great; no leaks, and very comfortable. I don't even feel it. However, from what I have read, menstrual cups are meant to sit low in your vagina; lower than a tampon.

The ladycup sits really high. Seriously high. It took some practice, and bearing down, to even find it. I insert it very low, but it migrates north on its own.

Also, it doesn't seem to be fully popped out. I am using the punch fold method.

That said, it is comfortable, and it is collecting my menstrual fluid without leaking. But is it supposed to be that high?

Thanks for your input!

If it's working for you great with no leaks and you can't feel it, you can remove and insert it easily, I wouldn't worry about it.

Honestly, I've don't take much notice how high mine sits. Sometimes it's higher, sometimes low. I don't like when it sits too low because that's when I do feel it and it's quite irritating.

I think the idea that it is supposed to sit low is because you want it to collect your flow, not sit so high near your cervix opening that very little gets collected in the cup. Does that make sense?

As for making sure it's open, I usually twist it around once or twice once it's inserted to make sure it's open.
