Polyps, polyps, polyps

I've got potential polyps as seen on my HSG. My OB wants to do a D and C under general. Just wondering if anyone has had these and successfully got pregnant after removal.

Anyone know of alternative treatments?

Who knows when I can schedule surgery with my very in-demand OB, it may be a few months, so I thought I'd try anything else under the sun...

shellnurse i've had polyps removed twice and i am pg now. a d&c won't hurt your chances of conception. unfortunately from what i've been told and what i experienced is they tend to grow back.

I had 3 miscarriages as a result of polyps, over 21 months we tried various things to conceive, M/C after M/C. I decided to have it/them removed, but had a hysteroscopy with polypectomy instead of a D&C. My Dr said that sometimes a D&C doesn't get it all out. I did get pregnant the month after the removal, he's 16 months old now, and I'm 16 weeks pregnant again. I do know that my uterus ruptured during labor with him and the MFM said the rupture looked like it was in the same spot as the polyp had been and too much was cut out which resulted in this.

So this time I have to deliver via C/S at 36 weeks to prevent something potentially catastrophic from happening.

It can happen mama, and it will!!!

i was told i have a polyp about 1 cm and that it may interfere implantation, did not have it removed, it took us 21 months to achieve pregnancy but this may have been due to other factors also
