Poor sleeping and vax

Please no flaming for Vax- we understand risks/benefits and made and educated decision.

DS got his 2nd round of vax three days ago and we have had the WORST two nights since. Anyone else had this experience? Its more than just needing to eat a lot, he's just up and fussy. I wonder how many nights this will continue?

I'm surprised you haven't gotten any replies yet. I sure hope no one would flame you for your vax decision. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on this site to have made this decision.

Can't help you on the 4 mo. vax because DS hasn't had them yet; they're scheduled in a couple weeks. He was quite out or sorts for the 2 months shots. He seemed quite uncomfortable so we did end up giving him a dose of Tylenol. He was fine after that.

From what I understand some fussiness for a few days after the shots is to be expected.

Hoping your LO starts to feel better soon!

could be the vax? could be a 4 month sleep regression. A lot of 4 month olds go through a tough sleep phase.

That's a good point. The timing could be a total coincidence. Otherwise, it could be a sore arm/leg thing...have you tried giving tylenol/motrin?
(I know, at that age it's so hard to tell if they *need* it or not, but if you haven't tried it it might work. If you did it once and your DS was still fussy you would at least know he wasn't in pain).

I hope it's gotten better since you posted. And if it's the 4 month sleep regression you have my sympathies. At that age I started going to bed at 8pm just to make sure I got enough sleep to function (and yes, it goes away on its own).

I'd think he either has a sore arm/leg, or it is unrelated.
