Trouble Sleeping?

Is anyone else having a hard time sleeping? Any tricks on getting to sleep? I am exhausted but it is taking me forever to fall asleep and then staying asleep is almost a joke! I went to bed at 11pm, passed out, but woke up at 12 and now its almost 3 and I can't get back to sleep!! It doesn't really help that I have to pee constantly and its hard to get comfortable, but its getting to the point that I just want to cry cause I'm sooooo tired!!!

Haha, yeah I ended up falling asleep after taking a shower around 4 something, I some how managed to mess up my neck and arm so now they both hurt....

I don't know what to tell you either. I fall asleep fairly quickly but can't seem to stay asleep closer to morning. Friday night I was up at 4 and back to bed at 6. Last night I was up at 3 and back to bed at 5:45. I just woke from a huge power nap today, which saved me. I thought "there is no way I could go into labor just now, I'm TOO TIRED! Hopefully I'll sleep okay tonight because dh is back to work and naps will not be an option. Baby just seem to want to float up at night out of my pelvis and right into my stomach and ribs. So not comfortable!!

Drink a glass of wine. Or a beer. Then take 1/2 a unisom or half a dose of Benadryl. Nighty night!!!!!!

I finally broke down and went and got some Unisom(not a huge fan of sleepaids), I'll let you all know if it helps at all....Hopefully I don't go into labor after taking them

YES! But it's because my newborn wakes up so frequently . . .it's the same issue on either side of the fence, LOL!

I listen to a guided meditation for sleep. Usually puts me out like a light, except I inevitably wake up at 4am with the headphones tangled in my hair and around my neck.

Me, too.

I've been taking extra calcium & mag, that seems to help a little. But the unisom idea is not bad...I may resort to that here soon.

Well I took the Unisom, it didn't really make me sleep though, it was a strange feeling. It was like this calm, sleepy feeling but not enough to make me totally sleep. I got more rest than I have been getting, but not sure I'll be taking it again, just because I don't want to go into labor all groggy and funny feeling!!
