Did you offer any special snacks or drinks while weaning? I am out of ideas, thanks!

I'm a bit confused by your post. Can we have some more information?

How old is your child? What is your concern? Are you actively trying to wean or is the child weaning and you are concerned about nutrition?

Sorry for the brief post-I had a sleeping child on my lap! My dd is 23 months old and we are gradually weaning by cutting back on the amount of times she nurses throughout the day. I am trying to distract with activities and offer her a snack or drink in place of nursing. I just want those snacks/drinks to be really appealing, you know? More appealing than the boob! Thanks!

I offer a bottle with either almond milk, or a mixture of almond milk and yogurt. My supply is way down from being pregnant, and I found that about 4 ounces of almond milk/yogurt mixture right before bed really cut down the time it took to nurse her to sleep at night, which has made my nights so much easier. This is actually the first time she's had a bottle since she was about 4 months old but I wanted to differentiate between this and her sippy cups, and she doesn't quite know how to use a normal cup without spilling yet. She's 22 months now and we've been doing this about 3 weeks.

I've been offering either chamomile tea lightly sweetened with honey or a raw sugar cube with organic whole milk to cool it to just over room temp, or warmed whole milk with sugar cube/honey and a couple drops of vanilla. He loves it. Prior to this he had already cut back to nursing only to nap or to go to sleep at night.I should also mention that I'm five months pregnant, so my milk has changed and helped him to lose interest.... but it's been exactly one week since he nursed. Hope this helps

We do raw milk, or pineapple juice blended with coconut milk for drinks.

We do a lot of fruit and healthy fats. Avocado mashed with bannana is a fave! Or coconut yogurt.
