what do you use to display your pictures? i don't have the money for a full paying website, so i was hoping there is a free way to have a website that doesn't limit the amount of pictures i can post. a blog or something?

thanks!!

I have a friend who is a photographer and has a website but also blogs and I think it works well to keep pictures posted. Here is her blog and her website to compare

Along with a website, I use zenfolio. If customers don't want their sittings private it could work as a portfolio....

I use wordpress (free) for my blog but I host it on my own site so the URL is my own website name.

I use pictage.com. But after 7 years we are trying to stop. Its hard when everything is stored there! Its just not worth it imo to pay the monthly fee of $99+. Are you trying to sell them online or just display them? I adore ShowitPro for slideshows and use that for SO many things including taking orders and sending the images to the client for selecting images.

I just used dropshots the other day and liked it, but it will not be a good choice if you want to sell your images online. But to be honest thats a tough business plan right now. Most people want to buy the disk and print themselves... its like stopping a train. No chance.
