All this time my kids have been playing some pretty fun games on the Miniclip website and little did I know there is some great language building sites to have fun on. My favorite is this game called Anagram magic. This is a game where you get to play someone against someone else. (it's a very safe sight, don't worry) You get nine letters, arrange them the best you can to get the best word. It's a quick five minute game that becomes very addicting after a few times. Im seeing a jump in the way my kids are using pre and suffixes.
Wordvine is another fun game. There is quite a few to discover yet. Just go to the Miniclip website, scroll down and you'll see huge amounts of games and puzzle like games to choose from. Not all, in fact the minority, are educational -ish although you can find learning in just about everything. Have fun!
