Help me with a writing project

2 of my children's 5 cousins are hsers, so, along with my 3, that makes hsing the majority educational choice on both sides of the family!

For Christmas, I'd like to make all the kids a "Keep Cousins Connected Kit." Basically a fancy stationery set. Here are my ideas, add yours please!

Materials:
Clipboard box to keep it all in
fancy paper and envelope assortment
address labels ready to go (including Nana and Grandaddy!)
fancy personalized return address labels
funky pen
colored pencils
blank puzzle to send as a letter

Ideas:
*mad libs word list and blank to send back and forth via mail
*Accordian fold paper and take turns drawing in one section only (leave just a bit of the drawing trailing across the fold) and send it to someone else to add a drawing building on, without looking at what was previously drawn
*Use a bigger envelope to gather stuff throughout a week: short notes on index cards, drawing, photo, picture cut from magazine, coupon?, duplicate trading card....

Stickers (my girls are 8 and 6 - everything revolves around cool stickers!)

Invisible ink kits

Some stamps to get them started

cardboard stencils, maybe? That's all the rage here right now.

Not sure how old the kids are but what about personalized pencils with erasers along with the pens.

... great idea! I can't think of anything else, I think you've got it all

What a great idea!

What about a general topic list in case they get stuck for things to write about? Sort of like the madlibs.

Would the cousins like to explore writing in simple codes or Egyptian hieroglyphics? There are some kits out there for learning and using them.
