I'm looking for a healing cookbook or resource that offers information on how to omit things like sugars, additives, etc.. Basically something that teaches you how to eat, cook, live as clean as possible.
I don't know where to begin. I've been eating veg-vegan for some time, and have a huge cache of cookbooks, but I still rely on meat analogues, processed items, some dairy -- I've tried cooking with the most basic ingredients, but my family is not a fan of the textures and flavors. We have a lot of allergies, family members that suffer from anxiety and depression... I know a change in eating habits won't solve these issues necessarily, but I'd like to try. It really seems like we're constantly battling colds, ear infections, sinus infections, etc..
