S/O: Christmas Bonus for Daycare Teachers

We send DS to a daycare center. Since we started in July there has been one main teacher who has been there the whole time. There is also a secondary teacher. The first secondary teacher left to go back to school and we got a new one. Then she got moved up to be the main teacher in the preschool room last week and we got yet another secondary teacher. She is going to be in the room a month or two and then will move up to be a secondary teacher in the toddler room.

So my questions is who do we get gifts for? The main teacher for sure, but then do we just get one for the current secondary teacher in the room or do I take a gift down to the teacher that was there the majority of the year and is now in preschool? Or both? What about the floating teachers that do relief throughout the day so the teachers can go on break??

Is there something you can get to go in the break room or office for all the "peripheral" people at the center? Like, buy gifts for your ds's main teachers, and then send a plate of cookies or a basket of fruit or something for the entire staff to share?

I like the PP's suggestion, but even more than that I have to say CARDS. Just write a little note to each person involved in your child's care. Then each person feels special and it really doesn't cost much. Or have your child draw a picture and dictate to you what to write (if child is old enough).

At the daycare I work at we've had people do trays of sandwiches (much appreciated as we can grab one on the run! LOL!), cheese/cracker/fruit trays (again, much appreciated because we can grab a handful and it's not all junk), cookie trays (yum), breads/muffins (banana, pumpkin, cranberry), donuts, cheesecake, etc. One right before I started working here we had a parent bring in a couple crock pots of chili that we could just plug in all day and eat on our time. They also brought in bread, cheese, crackers, etc to go with.

Right now I work crazy odd hours because I'm in school so in any given week I could work in 4 different rooms. I certainly don't expect kids from all 4 rooms to give me any sort of gift come Christmas... but a card from those whom I've had with me for 2+ years would be appreciated

ETA- last year we also had a parent go to bath and body works and buy a bunch of those little lotions. One for each person who works at the daycare (last year that was about 14, including the director. This year it's more since we recently expanded the daycare to include 4 more rooms).
