My dp took one look at my healthy/gourmet menu plan for thanksgiving and begged me to make him his favorite side candied yams. He wants the marshmellows and all. I've decided to make them for him. I don't want to use canned yams, and I'm looking for a recipe I saw once where you make the yams on the stove top. Anyone have that recipe? It was just the cut up yams or sweet potatoes, butter, and sugar, and it cooks itself. I just need the correct measurements and can't find it anywhere online.
