Merry Christmas!

Willow (2) was at daycare the other day and a little girl asked her why her mommy never picked her up. She says, "mommy said bye bye." She also walked away when she heard her mom on the phone this morning. Maybe my kid is stronger than we give her credit for...

Is it bad that I hope the mother cried after that? I almost feel bad...or I would if she was a decent human being.

To everyone on here who is 'mothering' someone else's child: Thank you, you are so selfless, wonderful, loving, amazing, and valuable!!!

When I was a kid, my home life wasn't very good, but I didn't have anyone else at all. I wish I would have had someone to fill in some mothering roles, even just once in a while.
