How much yarn & fabric per Waldorf doll?

I'm buying the yarn and skin fabric to make a Waldorf doll (and may make smaller ones in the future). I'm going to make a 16" doll w/ long hair and a
6-8" one too. And I want to use some of the skin fabric to make small bendy dolls too. So, how much skin fabric (comes in 32" tubular knit in 1/2 yard) would I need to get x many dolls x in size? And how yards (balls) of yarn to make long hair (to 16" dolls butt)?

I tried finding this out online but having trouble. Is there a guideline?

Out of 1yd of fabric from Dancing Rain Dolls, I was able to get

2 13" dolls
1 12" button jointed baby
2 heads & hands for 2 jammie babies (the body is different fabric)

and I still have some fabric left. I've been sewing a while and am very stingy w/ fabric so I don't follow the recommended layouts that involve fold the fabric in half and cut the pieces out that way.

From the yarn, I don't know. I got 2 caps for the 13" dolls and have enough for at least another doll cap, but I used a mix of yarns for the hair that hung from the caps.
