DS is 7 months and exclusively breastfed (no solids). A little more than a week ago, he had this really weird poop. Sticky-gluey and with a strange odor. To me it kinda smells like white school glue, but really strong? It's a strong odor too -- I never used to be able to tell if he had pooped without actually looking in his diaper, and now I can tell from two feet away. His saliva had the same odor, but not as strong.
I started sniffing around the house and I could be crazy but I also smelled something similar in the wipes (but only one brand of two), on DHs breath, and in the kefir. But my breastmilk has no strange odor.
DH, by the way, doesn't find it as strong as I do and might not have noticed on his own. He thinks it smells like vinegar, but not sharp.
What could it be? We moved a month ago so we are eating different foods, have a different washer/dryer, new city water, etc. It could be anything, so I'm lost. Does it sound familiar to anyone?
