Anything to help toddler fall asleep?

My DS is almost 15 months and most of the time he STTN. The problem is falling asleep. Up until about a month or so ago it was no issue, he would almost always nurse to sleep. Now, even though I know he's tired, he just fights it forever.

He used to go to bed around 8:30-9 and now it's anywhere between 10-11. Once he's asleep though, he's pretty much out. Is there anything at the health food store I can get for him to help him fall asleep? I know he's not getting as much sleep as he needs because he still wakes up early.

Hello? Nothing? From searching, I've seen things like chamomile and coffea but I'd love to hear from any mamas that have used it. Did I post in the wrong area?

For us, what has worked in helping my sleep-fighter sleep is this--

*consistent bedtime routine. dinner, bath, books, nurse, then daddy hold him on the bed until asleep
*about 5 pm I turn all of the lights off in the house and keep things quiet (we usually eat dinner at 6, and DS is in bed by 7)
*our bedroom is dark, we have blackout curtains, and we have a fan for white noise. everything distracts DS so that is what we had to do

We have used teething tablets and they do seem to help DS calm down a bit and fall asleep easier. Good luck!
