Natural Remedies for Receding Gum Lines?

What natural remedies do you all recommend for receding gum lines? I'm dreading going through the dental surgery my peridontist is recommending... skin grafts, etc. Any similar experiences?

Did any of you who had receding gum lines treat naturally and avoid dental surgery? I'm gonna try and post a poll, too! I consider myself to have a good dental hygene regime, so the news is also a bit of a surprise.... I've always gotten compliments on my teeth. Yikes!

I voted other because I never had receeding gums bad enough to need grafting, so it may be what you need in your case, I am not sure. Althought I always say try the natural stuff first. I have had lots of receeding, and have found it mainly due to my diet. I have seem improvement, (not a complete regrow but enough that I don't worry) by changing my diet, flossing 2x week, cutting out allergens (a biggie for me), and adding back in nutrients I am missing especially Vit C and Vit D.

I would try this http://www.albrite.com/index.htm before I did gum surgery again. I had it done 8 years ago and it was expensive, and then i found this. I am going to try it as soon as I solve my existing but separate dental issue.
