How ironic. I came into this forum to post this thread and saw a thread on large glass jars. 
I'm looking for a large glass tea pitcher with a lid to give to my Mom for Christmas. I ordered one that was 2.2qt but would really like something along the 4qt size. I haven't been able to locate one. I would also prefer to be able to handle hot liquids, but that's not completely necessary. She just prefers to make her tea using boiling water.
