I wouldn't care but I have tickets to Cirque du Soleil for hubby and I after xmas for our first date out. (xmas gift from my mum). I don't think I could take the baby, so the plan is to leave her with my mum for the afternoon. I figured it would be easy to get her to take breastmilk from a bottle, but have been practicing waay in advance *just in case*. Turns out that was good intuition.
She can't suck on it properly/ pushes it out of her mouth/ gags and wretches/ screams in anger/ and eventually works herself up into hysterics. She seems to hate it, and (swear to god) looks at me like I've somehow betrayed her every time I try it.
How on earth do you get yr baby used to the bottle, in situations like this? I dunno what to do.
