How long did Bum Genius One Size still fit your child?

A good portion of our stash is Bum Genius AIO One Size Organics. DD is almost 10 months old and about 27 inches (only 25% for height and weight). We have always snapped them closed at the same snaps width wise, since she was 3 months old. We have graduated from the smallest snapping length wise to the middle setting and I think we really need to unsnap them all the way now to the longest setting. I know babies slow down their growth in the 2nd year a lot versus the first year but I'm wondering if these dipes are really going to take us to potty training if we are on the longest length at only 10 months old? And it's not like she is extra tall or anything. I'm wondering what others' experience has been? What age did you make it to? Did your babe outgrow them before potty training? Thanks!

DS1's 2.5 (32.5 Months) and still fits in the bg 2.0 pockets

DD1 outgrew her BGOS (not the organic version) at the age of 2 years and 9 months, and potty trained at right around 3. The main problem was the Velcro not staying closed around her waist, so snaps would have lasted longer I think.

DS potty trained before he outgrew them.

DS was 3 in Sept (but only 30 lbs) and he just barely fits into them.

Hmm. So will my little one not grow a whole lot in length in the next year and a half?

The rise might be a little low depending on body shape/torso but they should fit for a while.

My 2.5 yo still has room in both the Bum Genius OS pockets and OS organic AIO's.

They tend to get thinner as they get taller, so that helps.

We have gro baby and I'm concerned they won't last long enough either. My son is a weed. At 4 months we're on the unsnapped rise already with the old style. We only have one new style shell with the extra centimeter and that one is still on the second rise. I may have to buy new shells. My backup plan is to go with econobunz or prefolds and thirsty covers.

No, she'll grow a lot, but she'll get thinner as she gets taller so they will fit for quite a while. My son was on the largest setting by 8 months (maybe sooner?), and he's a fairly tall 3 year old now and they still fit (but again he's pretty skinny).

My son is 18 months and they still fit him...but he's only in diapers for night time sleep. Every baby is different but there is a good chance they will still fit.

Liliaceae: Good to know you hit the largest by 8 months and they still fit! It's hard to picture how they will but I feel better knowing all you other moms have had good luck with them. :-)

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing. DD is 18 months on the tallest rise. Glad they should hold out a while longer.

my 30lb 3yo could fit into them though she's been out of diapers since 18mo

My almost-19 month old still wears his on the medium setting and my 5.5 yr old dd (33 pounds?) can wear them too if I happen to run out of her pullups (she wets the bed most nights).
