book recommendations..."how to" not "why"

I need a few book recommendations for me and DP to read/have in the house. UC is already a firm decision for us, and we aren't wavering on it. I took Bradley Method classes with my son, know a good amount about the labor/birth process, and have a few years of RN school, but a general "how to" and "what to expect" type book for UC would be great. Also a book about herbal treatments/remedies (if it covers pregnancy/birth/breastfeeding) would be helpful. Not looking for "Unassisted Childbirth" by L. Shanley or "Unassisted Homebirth: An Act of Love" by L. Griesemer.

We know why we want to UC. Now we just want to have a ton of reading material for how (for big things and little things, what to have on hand, what to do in X situation, etc.).

Thanks!

Emergency Childbirth Manual - it can be found in a few places online for you to print out.
It is extremely helpful! DH loved it because it's like a step by step process. He was actually sitting with me in the bathroom reading it and saying "oh and then this should happen, and then this..." and we were checking things off one by one

any midwifery textbook or text would be ideal. "emergency childbirth" is a must.

top book would be: holistic midwifery 1 & 2 by anne frye (pricey, but worth it, resale value is the same as new value, so reselling is an option)

heart & hands by elizabeth davis
spiritual midwifery by ina may gaskin
special delivery by rahima baldwin

all the above mentioned books are midwifery texts, and any would be perfect for the uc family.

I love love loved heart and hands, and it is definately being purchased before my first birth. There's a ton of information in it, but it's easy to read still without being completely overwhelming and wordy.

Heart and Hands came in handy during my UC. Didn't have to break out Emergency Childbirth but DH did read it beforehand.
