Amber Teething Necklace - Adverse Reaction? (x-post in Health & Healing)

Is that even possible? Finally got one from Inspired by Finn and I swear my 5.5 month old is way fussier than normal since (the past two days), not sleeping as well, etc. Thoughts?

How old is your son? Does he have any teeth yet? I have to say, I'm at least glad it's not just me - was totally thinking I was insane/imagining things. Odd, right?

He's 9 months with 4 teeth. He's had it off for a few days, so maybe I'll put it back on and see if I have the same reaction.

Maybe try a hazelwood teething necklace then. I have no idea. Hope it works out though.

I would inquire with the company you purchased from to see if they would know if this is possible. Also, take the necklace off and see if his temperament improves. DD has been wearing her necklace since she was 4 weeks old and we haven't had any issues. BTW, my dd and your ds share the same birthday!

Oh and I use Boiron's Camilia as well for teething.

I haven't put it on him again yet, no. We've been dealing with some icky cough so I really haven't thought about it much though, sorry!

Just wanted to revisit this topic - DS has been teething badly lately. Have a hazelwood necklace now, which doesn't seem to cause any adverse reaction but doesn't seem to help much either. Trying to decide if should try the amber necklace again - but gave it to SIL for her DD - so would have to buy a new one!

I had this happen too! I was happy to support Inspired by Finn-seems like a good mama business- but DD seemed much more fussy with the necklace. I have the small bead milk and honey amber. I just use Hylands teething tabs and try the necklace again periodically. I really wanted this to work!

Sorry to hear it! Can't figure out why it makes him worse but it definitely did. If it's any consolation, it seems like his hazelwood teething necklace is helping. Or maybe it's the bioplasma/cell salts I'm using. Or the castor/clove oil rub...

Tried the amber necklace again as DS is definitely working on some teeth. But again it seems to make things worse (even after salt cleansing the necklace overnight and energizing in fresh running cool water). Almost like it increases the symptoms instead of decreasing them. Should I keep trying? Is it possible that it is just making him teethe faster? I know allspice necklaces can make teeth come through faster as they tighten the gums - can amber work the same way?
