Normal?? Poo talk...

My daughter will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and has been having issues with built up gas for weeks. Yesterday and today she has spent a lot of time on her belly across my lap which has led to many toots but not much bm wise... Until about two hours ago when she had two blowouts in a row. Could this be the release of something that was built up or a sign of something bad? She's never pooped so much in such a little time... Normally it's more like little skidmarks. She is currently fussier than normal too which makes me think there may be more built up.

Also she's been at the boob more than normal today and along with the first blowout had a rather large spit up. When I changed her from that one she spit up even more on the next outfit. We're working on outfit #4 in less than 2 hours.

Lots of babies change their pooping pattern around this time, having big blowouts and just skid marks in between. It sounds normal to me, especially if the poo is yellow and runny or seedy. My babies have always farted a lot, too.

Are there any tricks other than tummy time to help relieve some of her discomfort??
