Roll Call Thread

The "holiday gifts" thread showed some of us that some of our dc are relatively close in age and we didn't know it! So maybe we should do sort of a "ptgc roll call" to see how old and how many dc we have!!

Me:

dd is 3.5 and baby dd is 1 year old.

I guess that I have the "old" kids here! My dds are 11 and 9.

Mine are all in my signature-- Bean is recently seven, Boobah is five and a half, Bella is three and a half, and Bear will be two in February. They're all fun, fantastic human beings. Bean is profoundly gifted, Boobah presents very differently but I have a feeling she'll turn out to be highly gifted as well (at least). Bella is most likely also profoundly gifted, and Bear is a riot-- clearly a very bright little fellow, but it's hard to tell what's him and what's Bella's obsession with learning (and oh, she is *obsessed*... not that anyone here understands that ).

My seemingly "Gifted" DC are 8 & 10.

Gifted kids are normal, too.

ds1 is 5 and giftedness seems to mostly be in humanities and creative stuff
ds2 is 2.5 (3 in January) -- so far a very quick learner, personable and physically precocious.
baby is due this week . . . no word on his/her intellectual abilities yet

DD - just turned 7.

Mine are in my siggy.
DD is 4.5 and DS will be 3 in January. They're both fairly bright, my dd especially keeps me on my parenting toes!

DS, who hasn't been test but we suspect is gifted (his preschool teachers also think he's gifted,) is 3 3/4. He'll be 4 around the beginning of February.

OT, has anyone else noticed this seems to be a pretty active forum considering it's TG. I had actually expect more traffic over in the foods forums, but it was ages before someone came and helped me with a non-dairy evaporated milk substitute (or maybe it just seemed like ages, b/c I was in a panic. )

We're right there with Kate and Rynna in the "outnumbered by little people" club.

DD1: almost 6
DS1: 4
DD2: 2
DS2: infant

Fortunately, the girls are able to keep themselves busy without getting into too much trouble. DS1 is a different story. At the rate he's going, he's going to have dismantled the whole house before long.

I just hope he outgrows this stage before his baby brother gets old enough to join in.
