exactly. I just sat there with my insides screaming "NOOO! WTF WOMAN ARE YOU KIDDING ME! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" I was frozen. I just wanted it to be over so I could take him back from her.

He's gotten over his flu (I think it was the flu) He's back to his happy curious self I don't know what we are doing for christmas, but I will be sure to set some 'rules'

My MIL is a bit... childish. She is one of those "I gave my kids soda all the time and they are fine" Um... they are not fine. My DH won't touch a veggie with a 10' pole and your other son was morbidly obese. Or I would be a b!tchy DIL for not letting her make my son sick with soda and pudding. Oh, that was the other thing that she was trying to feed him, a pudding cup. After the soda I didn't let him off my lap.

My mom asked the other day if DS could have a lick of icecream I think she was blinded by grandmotherly love. I know she didn't raise us like that. She was always trying to get good healthy home cooked meals into us. Something about becoming a grandmother make you want to feed kids icecream!
