Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys.

I ended up with a repeat c-sectioned last week, I had a midwife locally who supported me the whole time and we did try everything to have trigger labor in a natural way, herbs, homeopaths, etc. I would start having contractions and they stop that went on over and over, I forgot to mention that I have preg. induced hypertension and my blood pressure just was very high and after I started having headaches I did not feel comfortable to take any risks that could harm the Baby, so I went to the hospital, they tried to strip my membranes and see if that works, I had one big contraction a couple litle and again everything stoped.

They did not feel good about giving me pictocin and went ahead with a repeat c-section, I was out of the hospital after 1 1/2 day and feel well.

Of course I am sad and disappointed and wonder if I would have wnet into labor eventually, but I always told myself that I would try and wait to a point that I feel is still save and not push it for every price, the baby may have stayed past 43 weeks without labor on my own, that would have been too risky as my blood pressure would have raised or caused maybe tragic problems.

My Baby boy weighed 8lb 8oz and was 20.3 in tall, he is healthy, hungry and a very sweet calm soul.

I wish you all so much luck and a successfull VBAC

That high BP and headaches sounds like nothing to mess with. So glad everyone is okay. I'm sorry that it wasn't the VBAC birth you had hoped for

Wishing you a beautiful babymoon.

Congrats on your precious baby!

It sounds like you made a decision you felt comfortable with and with your symptoms, sounds like not messing with your health was a good idea! The good thing is, you made an informed decision, that's important!

Congrats again and thanks for the update!
