umbilical cord question

So my lo is 3 weeks and 1 day, her umbilical cord stump is still there. Should I worry?

nah. My neighbor's kids (all 4 of them) had cords for at least 5 weeks. Some just hang on I guess.

My older son's held on for just over 4 weeks. My younger son's fell off at 2 weeks. No problem with either one.

ds's took 4 weeks. we only cleaned it with water, not sure if that's why it took so long.

My son's took just over 4 weeks. It was annoying, but perfectly fine according to his doctor (the doctor said the longest she's ever seen one stay is 6 weeks!).
