does anyone have an idea of when a good time to start hypnobabies is (the homestudy course)? from what I can tell- it's six weeks of "classes" and then, you spend the rest of the time practicing? i want to make sure i get enough "practice" in, but I don't want to start so early that i get bored of it... kwim?

Use this chart:

For instance, I am due in January, so the ideal time for me to start was October or November. (which I did...just barely )

Between 25-30 weeks would be my suggestion. I started later the second time around, except I used their twins CD early to help me sleep. The maintenance phase willl keep you going as long as you need!

I started around 26 weeks. I took 2 weeks to do each week so that I could get extra practice so I did the first five weeks (the "lessons") until I was about 36 weeks and then did maintenence for the next 2 (my dd was born at 38 weeks). For our next baby, I will probably do some things really early, like the pregnancy affirmations, just becuase they are so positive and comforting. I also loved doing the scripts becuase they helped me sleep. But I might not do the actual "work" part of practicing the finger drop and doing some of the other tools until closer to 30 some weeks. I definitely want to be in maintence by 37 weeks though because I've never gone past 38 weeks so I want to be done by then!

26 weeks sounds like a good plan. i plan on having this baby at 38 weeks too (because i've told him when to come out ) so that makes a lot of sense..

i'm doing the "baby stay in" cd nightly now because my first son was 12 weeks early and i do notice the benefits!
