Raw almonds

Does anyone know where I could find some actual raw almonds?

I know about this: https://gsmg.infusionsoft.com/cart/s...&i=3&navicat=3 but I don't want to buy 50lbs (too expensive and not enough storage.)

Does anyone know of where you can buy smaller amounts or where I could join a co-op?

Thanks for the help, ladies!

You can find them in 1 - 5 lb. quantities on this site: http://www.livingnutz.com. It is $13.50 for 1 lb. or $55 for 5 lbs., so not cheap.

If you live someplace where Azure Standard delivers, they carry them (sometimes they are out of stock though and don't show up on the website). They are called "truly raw" almonds. I think Azure also delivers via UPS but I'd imagine shipping is spendy.

I also just got a bunch off Craig's List. Someone with their own personal grove of trees--no chemicals and doesn't pasteurize them.

azure standards are 8.30 per pound, 35.10 for 5 pounds, and 156.20 for 25 pounds.

also, check craigslist, my mom just found some that are no spray non-pasteurized for $125 for 50 pounds

Thank you!

5lbs at Living Nutz is $65.46 with shipping
5lbs at Azure Standard is $47.43 with shipping and UPS fee.

Only "almonds" results on craiglist are for wedding cakes, so no luck there. Will keep searching to see if I find cheaper than Azure, otherwise I'll go with that!

Thanks ladies!

We buy ours at the local Farmer's Markets and Trader Joe's.

Ebay, $3lb for low spray and really raw from the farmer. But you have to get 20lbs to get free shipping.

If you have any Bel Air stores near you, check out their natural foods aisle - in our area, they carry raw almonds. They aren't organic though.

Our local Wild Oats carries them.
