My LO is 4 months old and has already had 2 colds. I BF him but am wondering about some clo. How old do babies have to be to get some? I thought about just putting a drop on my fingertip and letting him suck on it. What do you all think?

I don't think that 4 mos. is too young. Actually, the Weston Price site suggested dosages start at 3 mos. so I believe you are safe and its such a super food that I do believe that it can only do good especially the fermented stuff.

My little guy is only 2 months and he's already had it (not straight, but he's had it). But, he's not EBF.
And be warned, the spit up smells like it, the poopy smells like it, the diaper bag smells like it, his body smells like it. When I woke up gagging in the middle of the night because of the smell I knew I had to find another option.

CLO, for all its goodness, isn't something I would expect to reduce the number of colds in the short/mid-term.

I have a five month old and I give her fermented CLO here and there. I let her taste some a month ago because she started asking for food and I figured it was one of the better options. She loved it and now she begs for it when she sees us taking it. Weird.
I was planning on EBF til six months but she seems to have other ideas. She likes bone broth to.
My ped recommended colostrum spray for immunity.....
