I need to be away for 3 - 4 nights on a business trip and leave my nursing baby. I am worried that he will wean himself while I am away.
I nursed my first for 32 months and left him for 4 nights when he was 26 months and he resumed nursing.
Do you think a 15 month old will wean himself? He co-sleeps and still nurses quite a bit during the night. My husband will be sleeping with him and we will have some EBM and we will also try to get him on cow's milk by then. Sometimes he will just cuddle back to sleep. Of course I will pump.
I would love for them to come but it is too expensive since we will have to pay for an extra room plus the flights across country.
If anyone has experience leaving a baby this age I would love to hear it.
