i think based on previous charts as well as this chart it does look like you O'd - obviously we can't be 100% sure, and if you get any more chances to BD why the heck not, but it does look like you may have O'd indeed!

ooooh i hope it means that egg decided to come out just in time for the sperm! (wow i wrote "term for the spime," wtf is wrong with me?)

afm temp is lower still, and i'm feeling like AF is totes on the way. again, not out till i'm out, but i've still got a cloth pad on so i'm ready when AF starts.

last chance at a summer 2010 baby, last chance at BFP before DD turns 2, last chance at BFP in 2009 - none of these are the hugest deal of course, but i'd be lying if i said i won't be disappointed.

however, i will not mind NOT being 39 weeks pregnant for that wedding, and i certainly will not mind having DD start preschool (next sept) before becoming a big sister. i did say before that if i got pregnant this cycle, it would be a most inconveniently-timed baby, but that i'd love to have that inconveniently-timed baby! however, if it doesn't happen, i will not mind that lack of inconvenient timing, at least.

i think i'll go back to vitex next cycle; my hormones seem to be on a much more even keel with the vitex even though i get such nicer CM with soy.

8dpo, I think I'm going to go nuts....Too early to test, too early to compare.
I almost wish I had a non preg chart of my own to look at. I've been all over FF comparing my chart. The only other time I charted, I got pregnant. (and lost it, but you know)
Of course I can't really take any symptoms seriously since the last two pregs didn't last.
My newest symptom is that for the past couple days I have felt like AF was on the way. This happened the last two pregs.

Normally (If there is a normal anymore) I have no idea is coming until about an hour before.

Since I have already been pregnant twice this year at least the symptons are fresh in my mind

You aren't required to give any excuse! I wouldn't have told, either (just walked on by, like you did!). Although, I would have been tempted to help because I LOVE HOLIDAY DECORATING!!!!!

I have this internal dialogue w/ myself every month. It helps to remind myself of the (usually only a few) reasons why it would be fine (and sometimes BETTER) to have not gotten pregnant in a particular month.

... that said, in the back of my mind I always keep hoping against hope that it will work out, despite the inconveniences that might come along w/ a "not so perfect" timed pregnancy.

Here's hoping the pad stays clean!!!

Ugh, I HATE days 5-10dpo. I feel like they're useless in terms of being able to obsess like a good obsesser should. Lol. Well... except for keeping an eye out for implant dips??

AFM - forgot to mention this morning (when I was obsessing over my temps) that there were TWO premonitions this morning!!!! I have to preface the premonitions with the fact that if we have a girl, we have been planning to name her Sophie after DPs grandma (we have been throwing around other ideas, but this has always been our top choice).
  • when I checked my inbox this morning, there was an offer from Mothering for a free "Sophie the Giraffe" if you ordered a subscription to Mothering using the promo code provided.
  • I was able to make an earlier bus this morning, which takes a route I'm not used to (since it's not an express) and I was napping (as usual) on the bus on the ride in. Occasionally I open my eyes to make sure I'm not missing my stop, etc... and when I opened them, we were passing by a cafe or salon or something called "Sophie's"

I couldn't ignore the premonitions, so I ordered a Mothering subscription. Did I just jinx myself? Lol!

Lyndzies

As for jinxing. Lemme just say....I WILL NOT join any of those online "Your baby is this far along" weekly emails. It sucks to have to edit them after a mc. Because the damn websites always say "Are you sure you want to delete "Little Johnny?" Arrrrggg!

Just wow. C'mon progesterone!
hmmm.. even if it puts it at yesterday, with the cm and cp you have in today Id be more inclined to say O did not happen until today... (and honestly for either)

I guess perhaps... but every other cycle I do have at least 1 day of fertile CM after O.

Probably all wishful thinking in general. I really did not have as good of EWCM AT ALL so far this cycle. Scant, mostly. Weird. Hopefully I DO O this cycle. Now I'm getting myself into a paranoid state. The last two cycles I've convinced myself I was going to either O late or not at all.

I guess only time will tell!

Damn, damn, DAMN! THUMBS DOWN. DISLIKE.

*sigh* next month, my dear. next month (man oh man does hearing that get old or what? I'm sorry, YYYM).

...

And, thank you very much for the encouragement.
YYYM I'm sorry

Lyndzies, continuing to think of you. I got pg on a month where I had little to no CM, I usually only get watery, not EWCM and have been pregnant 2 times recently!

Liz, just act really busy, like you have something going on. Change the subject if anyone asks you to help busybusybusybusy..

afm, we are getting our tree tonight. My place gets so dry that we decided to go with a white tree!! I have always wanted a white tree We always get real trees, but they are nearly bare by Dec 25th.

I BD last night, but not sure any spermies made it in there The others times are well timed, but that has made no difference before, why should it now?
I was thinking CD13 too. The BD on cd10 was an awesome chance (we weren't being at all careful ) The other times, we agreed to be "partially careful" to see if it is meant to be, oh, I don't know.
we bought a prelit artificial tree... we figure with the fact that we will be moving a lot over the next 3 to 15 years we might as well go with one that can travel with us rather than have to find a new tree farm each year. As much as I love the tree farm experience (hot apple cider, walking through the different heights of trees as you get to the tallest ones, the carolers) im not sure they have tree farms in places like So. Cal and Hawaii (both pretty good chances of being stationed there) and if they do I cannot imagine it being as much fun to go to one without at least an inch of snow on the ground...

Lyndzies,

Last cycle I hardly got ANY EWCM. That's all I do to monitor O and was waiting, waiting, waiting... and nothing. When my boobs started to hurt I thought "oh crap I must have O'd!" and we "had fun" that night (and a few after.. we were on vacation ).. and I got my very first BFP.

Good luck!

ok...you did it, you got me out of hiding, with THAT! lol... LZP, I've already told you how deeply, deeply happy I am to see you preggo. But I'm missing this:

:jamm in

And Lyndzies, I'm so, so glad you're here. It made it easier for me to stop reading the One. You are most welcome here. And here, here, to what my sister said about states recognizing your relationship with DP. She said it better, but I agree.

I'm feeling so much better not temping, and I've started doing yoga and pilates and stuff like that, and it feels so good for my body. I really, truly believe the relaxation part of it is making a healthier, more receptive environment out of my body. I've set my sights on "some day, hopefully soon" instead of THIS MONTH, AHHHHH! And that's helped, too. Huge hugs to everybody here!

And Lisko, I miss you, too!!

LZP, stay here as long long long as you want. You are a bitter sushi sister, and always will be even when you're holding your healthy squirming little munchkin.

Awww! Thank you so much for those words. I'm feeling quite a bit more comfortable here than I was starting to feel in the ONE. It's not even just that I don't feel I "fit" there as well as I used to... but also that I just was starting to feel like I was getting a bit negative, and it's not fair to everyone who's able to maintain a positive attitude for me to be such a grump! Lol.

I'm glad that it seems you're starting to find your groove w/ regard to relaxing a bit... the yoga and pilates sound like they would work wonders! I do a yoga sporadically; probably not enough to be making an difference. Heehee... I've also found that not temping during the beginning and the end of my cycle (I just can't bring myself to give it up all together!) has helped me, too!

.... anyway, glad you came out of lurkdom!!!
I was getting seriously bitter and jaded in the One before I left the first time. Thank goodness for the BSL! I just couldn't handle the easy pregnancies popping up left and right. But you're right, it's not fair or the place to be complaining about that. THIS is!

People (Court and LZP) have been practically begging me not to temp anymore for a while. Now that my RE said that the "data" wasn't of use or interest to them, it's like I got permission not to and I LOVE IT! The only stress was right around ovulation since I have a cyst and I'm not totally sure I would ovulate when I usually do...I wanted to make sure I started progesterone at the right time. But we made it through that with only two temps. Ok, back to lurking! I'm up because I have a class and tomorrow I have to finish report cards. I WANT MY WEEKENDS BACK!!!! GROWLLLl.....

ps - can I just add, KellyTTC#1, if you're still lurking, I miss you! How's your new house coming along? Are you ok?
