a small milestone

I've been breastfeeding for 12 weeks!

We got off to a rough start - I had a c/s, ds was sleepy at first from the meds, we had latch issues, over supply, and now that those issue are resolved we're dealing with food intolerances. But we're still going strong!

woohoo just needed to blow my own horn for a bit

YAY for you! (and your baby) Go ahead and toot that horn!
I wish more people who maybe got a rough start would put that kind of effort in!!

Good job momma! I'm right there with you, my son was early, couldn't latch (we had to use shields) and I got mastitis 3 times in the first 5 weeks. I remember every day being like, "if I give up today, at least I made it x weeks and x days", it's finally easy and a great bf relationship four months down the road.

I hope it is getting easier for you now too! You are doing an awesome job.

Congrats! We too had a rough start and are at 8 months of nursing now. It makes me everyday that we got through the rough patch and have a wonderful nursing relationship now.
