Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers?

I've been using Pampers Swaddlers. My son is now 6 mo old and weighs 14 lbs 5 oz. I am still using the size 1-2, but just bought some boxes of size 2 and size 2-3, as he is about to outgrow the size 1-2.

I am stocking up on value box diapers because I have a good coupon and need to use it tomorrow. I don't have to stick with Pampers, but I have been using them, so am comfortable with them and know what to expect.

However, before I get too far ahead of myself (since the store will not allow even exchanges allowing you to apply the previously used coupon discount) and end up with too many boxes, I'm not sure if I should consider putting him in a different diaper when he starts crawling, whenever that is.

I've read some bad reviews about Pampers Cruisers leaking. Though I have had the occasional leak with Swaddlers, it's not so much that I would stop using them. I think I either put them on too loosely on those occasions (though I worry about the red marks on his groin when I tighten them) or I had them on overnight too long.

So, can you still use Pampers Swaddlers for a crawling baby or is it best to switch to those diapers marketed for crawlers?

I would purchase more Swaddlers. I did not like Cruisers and switched to Huggies Supreme when my son moved to a larger size. You know that you like Swaddlers!

My crawling son wore Swaddlers for maybe a month before I switched to Cruisers, and we did not have any problems with leaks.

I liked the Cruisers, personally, but found that even with a coupon for Pampers, the Luvs were cheaper and just as good. And the store brand was even less and I liked them the most b/c they had no weird perfume smell.
