I did my first loads of prefolds recently. All, except about 5, came out fresh smelling and clean. Those 5, however, did not. I can't decide if they smell sour or like wet dog, but it's offensive. So I washed those 5 again and I hung them in the sun to dry. To no avail. What gives? I'm thinking I may just take those 5 out of the rotation until I get more that are not-so-fresh after washing and then what - strip them? Why would this happen after the first use/wash? Or is it not a problem at all?
