I'm looking for a good baby carrier for dad for christmas any suggestions? He so far isn't too much into the wraps or tying too much. He wants simple.

Thanks! Michelle

African mothers carry their babies on their backs using a towel and nothing else. I am not sure how to describe how it is done, but it isn't necessary to buy something specific.
My friend used to carry my LO on her back with a towel when she was only 2 weeks old and it worked like a charm to get her to sleep. I managed with the help of DH and sometimes it was the only thing that worked (DD had bad colic and reflux). Can try and take photos or something to help if you would like?

My husband really loves the Ergo. And actually, it seems like every time we have a "what does your DH like" thread, the Ergo seems to win.

He likes it because he can do it himself, you just buckle it on and go. He also likes that it feels similar to a backpack--it's not as foreign to him as a 15 foot long piece of cloth! And the best reason is that it's much more manly than all my pink wraps!

Hey thanks! I found the old thread and I ordered one for him. He'll love it way better than the wraps I'm working with! Michelle

Another vote for the Ergo. It's pretty manly.
