No New Teeth?

My son cut his first two bottom teeth in early October and nada since then. Is it unusual for 2 months to pass without any additional teeth coming in? He'll show some mild signs once in awhile (excessive drool; finger chewing), but no new teeth appear. He's turning nine months old in a few days and I've been wondering lately what's going on with his teeth...

In my experience, not unusual at all! All my kids first 2 teeth came through about 6 months, and no more until 9 or 10 months (my first didn't cut any more until she was over 1). Youngest dd is 11 months and she has 5 just starting to come in (her first 2 came in at 6 months).

no it's not unusual my dd caitlin cut her first 2 teeth at 10 months and then didn't cut anymore till she was 14 months, i wouldn't worry too much your lo is still very young.

If it's unusual, my DS is weird. He cut his first two (lower front) at 7 months or so. Still no more, three months down the line, though his upper front are on their way.
