I'm trying to figure out what a NJ daycare would require for admittance (without an exemption) for a little baby.

But when I read the state requirements, I'm confused.
There is a one page reference guide for the requirements but it has several parts. http://www.nj.gov/health/forms/imm-7.pdf

The first part is a table which lists the minimum requirments for school attendance.

The second part is a list of age approiate vaccinations for daycare. This section has significantly more requirements than the first table (and almost seems to contradict the ages). This mimics what is posted in the Dr's office by the pharmcutical companies.

My confusion is in that the first part calls out ages that the second part doesn't follow. For example DTap on the first part tells how to vaccinate for ages 1-9 years old (and it's required for preschool) but the second part sayds that the first dose would be at 2 months.
Do I need to follow the age appropriate vaccinations (which I believe most people do follow) ?

Does anyone have insight on this? (hopefully I was clear enough)

I think I figured it out. I found a FAQ document that sheds some light on the two parts http://www.nj.gov/health/cd/documents/vaccine_qa.pdf
It says that if a child enters daycare it must have the minimum number of age appropriate doses for admittance (or at least one for a provisional admittance).
