ah, then yes hormones which can screw you up for quite a while according to many women I have seen here... are you taking anything to help even it out? (prenatals, maca, etc. etc. etc.)

Just because its all screwed up doesnt mean you cant get pregnant, it just takes a little more work than some women...

Thanks, Mae. That makes sense. I'll have to do some digging in the archives. I'm taking a prenatal and occasionally take an extra does of B vitamins.

Note to self:

Continuing to google "EWCM after O" and "pregnancy symptom" (and "yeast infection" and "pregnancy symptom") may very well break the Internets. So knock it off, you silly obsessed woman!

ok, so I've had my mirena out for 3+ cycles. 1st was 28 day, second was 28 day, 3rd was 27 day and this is my 4th cycle post mirena. Does my cycle length make it more likely that things are back to "normal" or does that really not matter?

fwiw I had a mirena before and got pg on my first cycle after removal.

It's just.... SO WEIRD! And I'm obsessing!
I didn't see you phrase your question like this anywhere else so I'm answering now.. YES - totally unique and crazy amounts of fertile CM that made me wonder if I really had O'd (even though I knew I did) was my first sign in both pregnancies. Just in case you needed more reason to obsess :-p

Oh, I always need more reason to obsess. Thank you so very much for responding, and for giving me extra hope this cycle! Especially since I'm really trying to force myself to get out of the "this is crazy amounts of CM that makes me wonder if I really O'ed" frame of mind.

I guess there's nothing I can do now but cross my crossables. And obsess.

Sorry to highjack.

Do you remember when you had fertile CM after O and/or know how long it lasted? When did you get a BFP?

I'm 11DPO and I tested BFN, and I got EWCM today. Looking for all the hope I can find.

Mistral, am I having dejavu, or did we both ask the same questions over at FF?

nak

It started around 3-4 dpo I believe and lasted heavily until around 6 weeks with my son, I miscarried my second early. I did not test early with my son (waited until our anniversary).. 13dpo I got a faint + (frer) with the second. You're def. still in the running.

Chainedangel- from what I've read, the luteal phase is what really matters. You can O at any time but the LP should be the same length each cycle. So, there's a good chance that you're back to normal but hard to say.

ok so i'm truly obsessed...

I've felt tightenening in my uterus a few different times over the past couple nights. (I meditate w/ hands on uterus at night to let next baby know it is welcome to reside there for nine months. yah- i'm weird) I googled "uterus tightening" and the only thing that I've found is stuff about braxton hicks. Some saying it can start as early as 6 weeks???

With dd I thought I had a period but it was actually implantation according to mw. Din't get a till about 8wks prego with dd and she was my fourth. I started feeling bh around 12-14 weeks. (earlier with each pregnancy)

So now I'm wondering if I peed on those sticks too early??? Do you think? Or am I just reading into this?

Well I guess only time will tell. I don't mean to be pessimistic but I had lots of symptoms this month, including all sorts of stretching/pulling sensations in my uterus and I'm not pregnant. But due to your history, anything is possible!

And P.S. I don't think it's weird that you meditate on your uterus. I think it's very sweet.

8 days DPO...2.5 week wait???

I am 8 days DPO and tested for the first time this morning - BFN. I have a 31 day cycle with a 17 day luteal phase. Does that mean I can't possibly get a BFP this early?

I used an early-pregnancy-test strip. Maybe if I pick up an FRER?

Mellamoloca, I have a 31 day cycle with a 14 day luteal phase and my tests were completely negative at 8 and 9dpo. It wasn't until the morning of 10dpo that my Wondfos that I got from eBay showed the slightest hint of a line.

That afternoon I bought a pack of FRERs and they had an unequivocal, though light pink line. Maybe a FRER would have picked something up on 9dpo, I don't know.

So don't count yourself out yet! It very well could be too early for you to test. I had several negative tests before they went positive. Good luck to you!

Your LP has nothing to do with when you will get a bfp. FRERs say 5 days before your missed period but actually mean from 10dpo and on (at 10dpo the chances are only 69%) Implantation generally happens around 7dpo so 8dpo will usually be way too early to get a positive, no matter who you are. Of course, some do... but most do not. If you are using cheap tests, go ahead and test again... do NOT waste a FRER until after 10dpo though, unless you get a positive on a different strip. Its really not worth all that money to just throw it away when you do not have at least a questionable line on another test.

Thank you for the reply. I am very sorry for your early loss.

It isn't over until the witch shows her bloody self, especially since with your 4th you didn't pop + until 8 weeks.

Good luck!
