Well I am finally going to join this thread. I should have months ago because I am definitely an obsessing one! I sadly miscarried at 6 weeks pg last month. I had a weird virus during the 5th week where my temp spiked a fever like 8 times over the few days I was sick. I tried to keep it down but sometimes I just couldn't. So maybe that's why. I had my prog levels tested at 5DPO as this was my second early loss, and they were 22.5. That's a good number, right?

So here I am now at 9DPO. Have a bunch of symptoms but no tests in the house! I'm going to test at 11DPO.

Melly - I'm so sorry for your losses I don't know what numbers should be, but I decided to go for progesterone cream this month for short lp due to nursing. I know we conceived and lost in July and I haven't even had a long enough lp to test these last few months so.. here I am obsessing


I'm having a tww-is-torture night. My belly is all swollen and tender to the touch & its sore to lean against the counter. I have to wait a minimum of 5 more days before I can poas. I don't know how I'm going to manage. The only good thing is my (lengthy) ritual of vitamins and teas and creams all throughout the day. Makes me feel like I'm doing something productive.

Good Morning ladies!

Can you take a look at my chart, what is going on. I'm 13 DPO, still BFN, and my temp went from 98.90 to 98.89. FF said that my chart was Possibly Triphasic on Day 26.

My chart

I'm using dollar tree test and going by this guide:
10 dpo – 35%
11 dpo – 51%
12 dpo – 62%
13 dpo – 68%
14 dpo – 74%
15 dpo – 80%
16 dpo – 88%
17 dpo – 92%

My wife swore she saw a faint line on a dollar tree and ept yesterday, I think it was an evap, or imaginary.

I tested 3 times yesterday using 1 dollar store test and 2 early-pregnancy-test.com test strips. I believe I was only 9 DPO so your guide is making me really happy that I could still get a BFP!! I tested this morning and BFN. I have a FRER in my bag but I don't want to waste it too early. I think Maeryn said the difference between 10, 11, and 12 days was small so maybe I should just go for.

lyndzies and mellamaloca-- I hear you about being obsessed...I haven't, evidently, O'd yet and I tested yesterday 3 times... I think there is something WAY wrong with that! But it is fun...

BFF had to quit smoking cold turkey when she found out she was pregnant. She says her replacement for smoking has been POAS.

So evidently even after the stick gives us the answer we want we keep peeing on them!

My best friend is even more of a poasaholic than I am. She got her BFP on Thurs and even used a OPK test strip after that.

My brother needs to quit smoking, should I tell him about the replacement?

...and I might take the cake on this one...Yesterday I got photos taken on my DS wearing a shirt that says Big Brother. And then I framed the portrait. I left it in the trunk of the car and told DH not to go in because I left one of his Christmas presents. TTC women are crazy <-- that's me!

First I think your o date is off by one. cd17 looks more likely given the secondary signs as well as temp. So you still have agood shot at a bfp if you tested too early?

If my O day was off by one, then probably have a 3% chance, as I did IUI with frozen donor sperm. Frozen sperm doesn't live long.

You are right, there is a white line there surrounded by the dye... which makes it an error test (and if they are two separate strips i suggest not using them anymore)

I edited it thinking I could pull out a bfp for you but all I got was confused because really to the right of it LOOKS like it could be a bfp, but where the white line is is where the bfp should be.

Sorry i don't know much about frozen sperm, but I do know that the day before O is a better time to "marinate" (I think was the term some were using? LOL) rather than the day of O under normal circumstances. So depending on when you O'd on cd17, then the longest they would have to survive would be 24 hours? Good luck!

lifespan of frozen sperm is only about 24 hours so yeah, pinpointing O is really important.

Mistral- At this point, with that chart, I'd spring for a FRER. They are so good at these early test...I mean...it is an "early response" for a reason right? But I think your chart looks great! FWIW the FRER gave me my + at 10dpo and I didn't have through the roof hcg or anything. I couldn't have waited as long as the $tree test would have taken.

Mellamoca- HA! You should definitely tell your brother to POAS to quit smoking. I'm sure that would work for him.

aidanraynesmom- Hugs. Error tests suck. I'm sorry! Sometimes my find the line vision is so good I can see the antibody strip. It is totally heartwrenching...

mae- You do such a good job of breaking hard news and good news. I cannot wait for you to have your own good news!

I finally remembered to temp this morning...we'll see what happens...yesterday the cold I had Monday/Tuesday moved into my eye. Yes. You read that right. I have snot coming out of my eye. It is better this morning but I'm really hoping that it doesn't interfere with O.
But we've had fun "trying."

Thanks girls And Mae, thanks for editing and analyzing. I was afraid of the valid test crap. This morning, first pee, very BFN. Tell me it'll happen. That I'm only 8-9 dpo.

I have my normal pre AF break out and headache today. This so totally blows.

Ok, I'm going to whine really quick =P... I can't stand how so many people (re: stupid SIL) can squirt out so many (that they don't even want) and I would cherish just one more and can't manage to do it.

Ok I feel a little better. I'm still praying for all you ladies!! Thanks again.

You know, you arent THAT far into your luteal phase to be discouraged. After all, a FRER (sensitivity 25mIU) only has a 65% chance of a bfp at 10dpo if you ARE pregnant... you have time! I have, personally and due to the fact that I have been here on this forum for over a year now, seen MANY many many many who had a negative at 10dpo and still were pregnant, gotten a negative at 11dpo and were still pregnant, 12 dpo, 13 dpo... it DOES happen.

And as for having af symptoms, those are symptoms of an increase in progesterone, which will happen no matter if AF is coming or you are pregnant (progesterone rises once implantation happens, the higher it is the more symptoms you will get) which sucks because that means most early pregnancy symptoms (nausea, sore breasts, cramps, headaches, bloody nose/gums, mood swings, etc.) are also symptoms of AF coming... theres really no way to know until that hcg gets strong enough for the stick to yell HEY GUESS WHAT?! YOU GOTS A BUN IN THE OVEN!!!!

I was wrong about the spotting. Just copious amounts of watery cm. I keep running to the bathroom for a tampon but every time it's the same thing. Hurry up, AF, so I can get back to babymaking!

2nd test of the day also BFN...but this evening I am feeling a bit nauseous and my boobs are sore. Maybe this is a good sign. Still debating on whether to use FRER tomorrow or Monday. Kinda hard to decide because I do not know for certain how many DPO I am.

For the record, I have a 28 day cycle and O is on CD 14 or 15, confirmed by OPK. I chart CM but don't temp. RE has confirmed that I do in fact O at all. Although that's all we know so far.

I have a question for you ladies. Where should my cervix be right now in my cycle? I'm CD22 and 8dpo. Its really high. Would it be high if I were pg? Would it be high at this time during a normal, not pg cycle? Its hard, and I have a small amount of creamy CM, if that matters.

CP is not a sign of pregnancy. It will change throughout the day and depending on the position you are in when you check it. The only thing you can really use CP for is an added fertility sign (high soft open = impending O) anything else is just ... how it is... ya know?

You can't confrim O by OPK. You can get an LH surge and still not O and if you do O, OPK doesn't pinpoint the day (one usually O's 12-48 hours after the positive OPK and sometimes even as late as 72 hours!) The only way to pinpoint and confirm O is by temping. (or by the doc - like you said, your RE can cofirm you are indeed Oing, but to do it yourself....you need to temp)

Hello all!
I just joined this forum a couple days ago. So glad I found this thread! I'm totally obsessing. I'm 10DPO, TTC #4. I had a m/c last month, so I'm even more obessed this month than usual. I took an earlypregnancytest.com test this morning. I *think* I saw a line this morning within the 3 min. mark, but now I'm starting to question myself.

Here's a link if you'd like to take a look, the line looks a little darker IRL. Please feel free to be brutally honest. I will of course be testing again tomorrow and probably every day after that *just to be sure*
